The World Trade Center will offer live public viewings of one of the most-watched sporting events in the world this June as the U.S. and West Indies host the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. The outdoor viewings, hosted in partnership with the ICC, will take place on 10 game days throughout the month of June on the North Oculus Plaza. The viewing experience will include a large screen set up on the plaza, where viewers can order a wide variety of food and drink options from the nearby Oculus Beer Garden and Westfield World Trade Center shops and restaurants.
Fan activities including face painting and sign making stations, cricket simulators, World Cup trophy displays, appearances by cricket players and mascots are planned for each game day. Viewing spectators can also enjoy lightings of the Oculus in partnership with the ICC during night games on June 1, 5, 8, and 11.
Viewings are free and open to the public. Fans can RSVP for each game viewing through Eventbrite.
