Activation: The Garden Grows Art Activity in partnership with Art on the Ave
Location: North Oculus Plaza
In the spirit of the Sacuanjoche flowers (national flower of Nicaragua) that people are so enjoying in the Creative Spaces studio, Franck de las Mercedes will create coloring pages for each country's national flower. The activity will be called The Garden Grows, and it will be a well-equipped coloring station for all ages. The artist will be live painting a large piece with the same flowers while live music is playing tunes familiar to latin cultures. Passersby can choose to leave with their piece, or Franck will collage them onto a large canvas where all can see the garden grow.
