In partnership with Sputnik Yoga, we will host a range of fitness and wellness classes at the World Trade Center on select Wednesdays. Launching in May to support Mental Health Awareness Month, this weekly series encourages healthy wellbeing habits for our community. Programming will feature a variety of classes from yoga and meditation to HIIT and many others!
Wellness Wednesdays will take place on Oculus Plaza from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Register for each class on Eventbrite.
Please bring your own yoga mat or blanket. All classes are weather dependent and are subject to change.
Class Descriptions
Get ready for an invigorating and accessible yoga experience with this powerful vinyasa flow class! Suitable for all levels, the sequencing in this class will keep you moving and breathing from start to finish, helping you build strength and tap into a sense of ease and calm.

Somatic Movement offers a space to explore the sensation and feeling of specific movement sequences and patterns in your body, while bringing mindful awareness as you share the space with others. This class bridges a hybrid of movement modalities stemming from dance, yoga, and free-form expression.

Elevé Sculpt is a full-body workout that blends low impact sculpting built on elements of Pilates, barre, and functional training, with easy-to-follow dance cardio to lengthen, tone, and help participants feel great. A continuous flow of movement set to an upbeat playlist helps increase your heart rate and break a sweat while strengthening the body and energizing the mind. Sneakers recommended.

4. Qi Gong:
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese energy and healing practice. Practicing Qi Gong cultivates and balances our body and mental energy through natural breathing, gentle motion, and relaxed concentration to promote health and well-being. Open to all ages, no prior experience necessary.

5. Strictly Tango:
Join Strictly Tango for a fun and entertaining introductory Argentine Tango class for absolute beginners with simple steps for everyone to follow. Come to learn something new, mingle and meet new people through the embrace of Argentine Tango. No partner needed. Bring comfortable clothes and shoes.

6. Pure Barre – Pure Barre Classic:
This signature class will guide you through a series of low-impact, high-intensity isometric movements designed to improve your flexibility while strengthening and toning your body. Come shake it out with Pure Barre NYC as they take us through a low-impact, high-intensity, full body workout!

7. Yang Yin:
In this class, you will be guided through an invigorating, mindful sequence, incorporating breathwork and a heat-building vinyasa flow to rejuvenate your spirit, support your body, and calm your mind. The yang portion of class unwinds with a relaxing and restorative set of longer-held, balanced blend of yoga posture for a more yin style. Open to all levels.

8. Gloveworx:
Experience a high-energy, full-body cardio boxing workout right in the heart of the iconic Oculus! Expect high-intensity aerobics, boxing, burpees, shadow boxing, and more led by all-star instructors, Gloveworx founder and CEO, Leyon Azubuike, and Head of Gloveworx World Trade Center, Elan Trombley. No experience necessary. Bring your own mat.
